This is a beautiful hotel in a wonderful setting with water all around. The food was very good and the staff very helpful. We went on the boat trip to see the interesting fishing nets along the river.

Best resort for bird watching and stay in back water Island

In back water Island...amidst nature...40 km from Alleppey back water..need to take a 50 m boat ride to reach resort reception...they offer free paddle boat, kayaking in resort back water which is 3 to 3.5 ft and safe and we especially kids enjoyed lots ...heaven for bird lovers .. u can find many different birds in resort itself.....they arranged group motor boat ride at back water that was average experience... We did early morning 6:30 am bird watching walk from resort with bird lover enthusiast at resort Mr. Sudhees Mohan... excellent humble and nice person with good knowledge about birds..we especially kids enjoyed lots...we saw many king fishers, bee eaters, egrets, herons, komrons and many more...it was the best experience.. We wanted to go for jogging in early morning and they arranged it very well... Food was good but limited options for vegetarian... Nice swimming pool Very good grape spice welcome drink on arrival Over all superb experience with well courteous staffs and great service..nice view from rooms

Excellent property with well maintained rooms. The unique experience is that one has to enter the hotel after a very short boat ride. Its a perfect place to relax. They offers heap of complimentary activities which one can do in the resort and gain experience paddle boating, shikari, kayaking, etc. One can do backwater boating which is a lifetime experience with a beautiful surrounding and so many different type of birds. The staff is courteous and food is good.

The reception staff at the reception was incredibly courteous and efficient, ensuring a smooth check-in process. Especially welcome drink was so unique and tasty. Staffs are honest and so kind, they called me to refund some money which was over charged by restaurant by mistake. The view of the property provide traditional authentic Kerala experience, nice boating experience and also surrounded by nature Perfect spot if you want to relax, prices are reasonable. Thanks to Chef Mr.Gijo to arrange and cook such a big fish , taste was amazing and delicious. I wish to thank Mr.Renji Paul and Mr.Ken Sunny.

Lovely place abt 55 kms from the Cochin Airport. Tucked away in through a little late with water bodies all around . One unique experience being that one has to to enter the hotel by a very short boat ride. Very courteous staff and helpful. The food is better than most . The setting peaceful. It's right in the middle of Alleppey and Cochin . Even Kumarakom is very easily reached
